Pronounced 'Keen-wa'. Quinoa is a seed with a mild nutty flavour. It is high in protein, vitamin B and E and fibre. Quinoa can be combined with rice in making risotto and pilaf. When combined with other flours it also works well to make bread, pasta, cakes, biscuits and pastry

About Ceres
Ceres has developed to be New Zealand's foremost distributor for Organic products; including dry goods, skin, body, hair care and colours, household cleaning and fresh produce. They started their journey with humble beginnings as a school fair stall in 1982, growing to a small business based in a garage. From here, a retail shop was established which still operates at 181 Ladies Mile, Ellerslie, Auckland and today they employ 70 people and operate a large warehousing facility and head office.
