Quinoa is said to be "the mother of all grains." It is a balanced source of amino acids making it a high quality protein with a low Glycemic Index of 35. Black quinoa is a more exotic and less common variety. Use as you would rice insalads, baking, hot breakfast & desserts

Ceres has developed to be New Zealand's foremost distributor for Organic products; including dry goods, skin, body, hair care and colours, household cleaning and fresh produce. They started their journey with humble beginnings as a school fair stall in 1982, growing to a small business based in a garage. From here, a retail shop was established which still operates at 181 Ladies Mile, Ellerslie, Auckland and today they employ 70 people and operate a large warehousing facility and head office.
